The Founder's Vision
संस्थापक का संकल्प
Colonel Sriniwas Shukla dedicated 36 remarkable years to the Indian Army, followed by 30 years of tireless service to society after retirement. Driven by a deep compassion for those on the margins, he resolved to establish a place of healing — a Chikitsalaya — where the poor and vulnerable could receive care without cost or barrier.
कर्नल श्रीनिवास शुक्ल ने भारतीय सेना में ३६ वर्षों तक अपना जीवन अर्पित किया, और सेवानिवृत्ति के पश्चात समाज की सेवा में ३० वर्ष और लगाए। वंचितों और निर्धनों के लिए उनके हृदय में गहरी करुणा थी। उन्होंने संकल्प लिया कि वे एक ऐसे चिकित्सालय की स्थापना करेंगे जहाँ गरीब और असहाय लोगों को बिना किसी शुल्क के इलाज मिल सके।
Humble Beginnings
विनम्र आरम्भ
With no land to call his own and no external support, Colonel Shukla turned to what he had — his ancestral home in Village Mahewa Nankar. There, with his own resources, he opened his doors to the sick and suffering. The clinic was formally established on 3rd September 2020, coinciding with the death anniversary of his wife, Smt. Sona Devi, as an act of remembrance and devotion.
न कोई भूमि थी, न किसी का सहयोग — केवल था तो उनका पैतृक मकान, ग्राम महेवा नांनकार में। अपने निजी संसाधनों से उन्होंने रोगियों के लिए वहाँ द्वार खोले। यह चिकित्सालय औपचारिक रूप से ३ सितंबर २०२० को स्थापित हुआ — यह तिथि उनकी पत्नी स्मत. सोना देवी की पुण्यतिथि थी, और यह स्थापना उन्हीं की स्मृति को समर्पित थी।

A Clinic on the Farm — Growing to Meet Need
खेत में चिकित्सालय — बढ़ती हुई सेवा
As the number of patients grew, Colonel Shukla constructed a dedicated clinic building on his farmland — sparing villagers the discomfort of travelling to his home, and offering them a dignified space of their own. That clinic is fully subscribed and functioning to this day. To give this work a formal footing, he registered the Sainik Parmarth Chikitsalaya Trust, enabling wider support from society and ensuring the mission could endure beyond any one person.
The Trust's purpose: to serve war widows, disabled soldiers, the hearing and speech impaired, the mentally challenged, and every marginalised soul — bringing primary healthcare, free medicine, Yoga instruction, and ultimately the aspiration of a 20-bed hospital with a maternity ward.
जैसे-जैसे मरीजों की संख्या बढ़ी, कर्नल शुक्ल ने अपने खेत में एक अलग भवन बनाया — ताकि ग्रामीणों को उनके घर जाने की असुविधा न हो। वह चिकित्सालय आज पूर्ण रूप से संचालित है। इस कार्य को संस्थागत रूप देने के लिए उन्होंने सैनिक परमार्थ चिकित्सालय ट्रस्ट की स्थापना की, जिससे समाज का व्यापक सहयोग मिल सके और यह सेवा किसी एक व्यक्ति पर निर्भर न रहे।
ट्रस्ट का उद्देश्य है — वीरांगनाओं, दिव्यांग सैनिकों, बधिरों, मूकों, मानसिक रूप से कमज़ोर और समाज के वंचित वर्गों को प्राथमिक स्वास्थ्य सेवा, निःशुल्क दवा, योग शिक्षा प्रदान करना — और भविष्य में प्रसूति कक्ष सहित एक २० शय्या का अस्पताल बनाने का संकल्प।

In the early hours of 1 June 2021, Colonel Sriniwas Shukla breathed his last, taken by COVID-19. He left behind not just a clinic, but a living testament to selfless service. A soldier who fought for the nation's borders and then spent his retirement fighting poverty and illness in his own village. His memory endures in every patient healed, every family comforted, and every act of service carried out in his name.
१ जून २०२१ की सुबह, कोरोना महामारी ने कर्नल श्रीनिवास शुक्ल को हमसे छीन लिया। वे अपने पीछे न केवल एक चिकित्सालय, बल्कि निःस्वार्थ सेवा का एक जीवंत प्रतीक छोड़ गए। जिस सैनिक ने सीमाओं पर देश की रक्षा की, उसी ने सेवानिवृत्ति के बाद अपने गाँव में गरीबी और बीमारी से लड़ाई लड़ी। उनकी स्मृति प्रत्येक स्वस्थ होते रोगी में, प्रत्येक सांत्वना पाते परिवार में, और उनके नाम पर की जाती हर सेवा में जीवित है।

The Chikitsalaya continues under the dedicated stewardship of Colonel Sriniwas Shukla's elder son, who upholds his father's vision while serving the nation in the Indian Army.
चिकित्सालय आज भी कर्नल श्रीनिवास शुक्ल के बड़े पुत्र के सक्षम नेतृत्व में संचालित है, जो अपने पिता के स्वप्न को साकार करते हुए स्वयं भारतीय सेना में देश की सेवा कर रहे हैं।
Elder son of the founder, Colonel Bipin Shukla carries forward his father's mission — ensuring that the Chikitsalaya continues to be a sanctuary for those who need it most, while he himself remains committed to the nation in active military service.
